Just purchased a new monitor and was faced with the exact same issue (Gigabyte G32qc) My new monitor as a option DP 1.3 (120hrtz only) or DP 1.4 (165hrtz+) DP 1.3 was fine getting into bios DP 1.4 get the issue no display whilst booting until it gets to windows. This pointed me to my VGA card 2080ti. It's basically a simple DP flash on the VGA.

HDMI works fine, able to see my post screen and RAID screen show up and enter the BIOS fine. It just won't do it with DisplayPort.. New setup is DP - DP or HDMI - DP and thats where i started to see such issue KiDCady; 1 Link to comment Share on other sites. More sharing options.

Shut Down Your Monitor Turn your monitor off and unplug the DisplayPort cable. Remove the power cable and wait at least 30 seconds. Plug the power cable back in, followed by the DisplayPort cable. Dude 3 years later and you helped me brother just bought the 4070ti and b550-f and the damn thing wouldn't boot at all with the gpu on the new motherboard I finally had something click and I put hdmi in and it booted fine.but DP worked and booted fine on my old system, you were my last option and it worked or else the mobo was going back lol.appreciate bro
